Position Overview

The Polkadot UX Bounty is expanding its ecosystem impact, and Advisors play a crucial role in guiding specialized areas such as DeFi, Governance, Tech, Wallets, UX, and more. By leveraging their expertise, Advisors ensure the Bounty’s efforts remain relevant and effective. Their input spans feedback on dedicated projects, advocacy, and connecting the Bounty to the broader ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. Advisory

• Specialize in a specific area (e.g., DeFi, Governance, Tech, Wallets, UX) to serve as a key point of contact for relevant projects.
• Follow and provide feedback on dedicated projects assigned or selected based on expertise.
• Collaborate with Curators to ensure consistency across evaluations and deliverables.

2. Due Diligence and Feedback

• Assist in evaluating RFP recipients and budget decisions where relevant to expertise.
• Provide detailed feedback to contributors to improve deliverables and output quality.
• Support the refinement of evaluation frameworks and criteria for consistency and impact.

3. Advocacy and Ecosystem Engagement

• Advocate for the UX Bounty by promoting its efforts across channels (e.g., social media, forums, events, etc.).
• Communicate relevant information about UX Bounty efforts to stakeholders.
• Connect the Bounty with projects and initiatives that could benefit from its support.
• Refer new talents and agencies to the RFP pool to expand the Bounty’s reach.

4. Strategic Support

• Attend monthly calls to stay updated on the Bounty’s progress and contribute insights.
• Assist the General Manager by identifying key conversations and discussions to ensure the Bounty remains well-integrated within the ecosystem.
